Surprising almost everyone, the PlayStation blog has revealed that a mobile version of Lemmings is now available. The game is the last entry in the Lemmings series, which began in 1991 and was initially launched on Amiga.
Although this version of Lemmings is new (developed by Sad Puppy Limited), the basic concept remains the same as its predecessors. The game is a platform game and puzzle that takes charge of guiding at least a certain percentage of anthropomorphized lemmings through stages full of obstacles.
Lemmings presents some modern changes to take it to 2018, as touch controls and levels generated by procedures. The game also features sharp images that remind us of the most recent Rayman games from Ubisoft.c
Where the title may fall out of favor with some people is with its elements of gacha. This is a free game that has an energy system, several coins and loot boxes. There’s even an in-app purchase for $ 7 that gives you unlimited power for two hours. Stupid.
The energy system in particular seems to be a great pain, since it is related to everything you do when you are playing. Everything, from building stairs to digging and placing umbrellas, costs energy. That means you’ll run out of energy at some point, even when you’re on a level. Harry Potter: The mystery of Hogwarts, anyone?
You can download Lemmings in the following link to see how the game translates into mobile devices. Keep in mind that in-app purchases go up to $ 99.99.
